Some of the worst tales are hidden behind the glamor of a career. A winner of both the USA and World Championships in the event of a hurdle, Lolo Jones has reached her current standing after many years of hard work and an immense amount of patience. Jones had a difficult childhood because she was born to a single mother with a large family. Her mother was always in motion as well as having been living in a basement church for a duration. Jones was required to go to a new high school each year due to her nomadic background. Jones loved to participate in athletics at Theodore Roosevelt high school, was able to live far from her mother to pursue her interests. Jones was a resident of four houses during her highschool years in order to study at one location. Jones, a cellist in the school's orchestra as well as winner of the Gatorade Track and Field Iowa athlete of the year earned her an award called the Gatorade Iowa Athlete Award at the end of high school. Jones was among the best hurdlers in her age group in her first year of college. The year 2002 was the time she won the winner of the 100-meter hurdles during the NCAA Track & Field Championship. Jones was also part of the team that finished second in the 100-meter Relay race. In 2003 and 2004, Jones took home the indoor hurdles event at the NCAA Championship. Jones began training in 2005 when she graduated from her education. In 2005, she was winning the Torino Memorial race, in 2006 she was one of the Heusden and Ostrava racers.

Born and raised in Cape Town South Africa Brandt immigrated with her family to Auckland New Zealand in her late teens. Brandt was discovered in Auckland by casting directors. She was then offered the role of Naevia as a character in the Starz smash Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. The performance was well-loved among the public and producers Steven S. D Knight, Sam Raimi and Sam Raimi. She was on the show's hit Netflix show Lucifer that had a six year run. She played the most loved Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Forbes has ranked Lucifer as the most watched show of 2021. Brandt will next appear opposite Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira in the limited series of six episodes Walking Dead spin-off which airs in 2024. She also stars alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni and Chris Meloni as Captain Fall in a mature animated feature which will premiere on Netflix July 20, 2023. Lesley-Ann Brandt is an South African actress, born in Cape Town, South Africa on 2nd of December, 1981. She is a renowned New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt, along with her entire family moved into Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. Her first job was working in Auckland as a retailer before being promoted to an IT management consultant. Lesley started her career with commercial ads following a couple of modeling jobs. In 2008, she finished her majors in acting and pursued further training in Meisner ways of learning. Her first acting job was with the new Zealand TV show Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance in New Zealand's TV series Shortland Street acting as support actor. The next time she appeared on the show was This Is Not My Life. It's based on the actual tale of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was later reprised as Naevia in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
